Originally built in 1908 as the Tourist, the
steamer was rebuilt in 1921 as shown
above, renamed the Sabino, and put to
work on the Kennecbec River. Many
consider this period as her most
attractive configuration. In 1973 the
Sabino was acquired by Mystic Seaport
and continues daily excursions throughout
the summer.
